Before and After Bedroom

I invite you to my boudoir, if only virtually.

The details: Headboard is a piece of MDF covered in batting and fabric. The poster was purchased at rainfall.com. My dresser is inherited from my mother, and it was made by a family owned furniture company in rural Québec. It was repainted at some point in the 1980s, and recently the hardware receive a chemical bath to removed the layered paint. The top drawer has new hardware in a complimentary style and matching brass finish. Mirror bought at Winners for $30. Chandelier from Canadian Tire, and small lamp was a thrift shop purchase that I recovered with red rice paper. The wall colour is Dior by Benjamin Moore. Bedspread was initially a temporary piece made from two scraps of my sewing box, each purchased for about 2$ a yard. The bed itself is handmade from 2 x 4 boards, and plywood planks screwed on top.
